Overview
Cardiac MR studies typically take a long time to acquire, process, and interpret. This session will discuss the various strategies, tools, and technologies available to shorten all aspects of the cardiac examination.
Target Audience
The target audience is physicist, engineers, and clinicians who seek to understand how to speed up scans by acceleration techniques, efficient work flows, and advanced reconstruction.
Educational Objectives
As a result of attending this course, participants should be able to:
• Identify the various acceleration techniques available clinically and new in research;
• Characterize which strategies could be employed for an abbreviated scan; and
• Explain how clinical workflow can be sped up with respect to report generation and post processing.
