How to use (for authors).
- Select your paper PDF below and click Analyze figures.
- Step 1. Density check. Each figure is scored 0 to 100 and tagged PASS / WARNING / FAIL for readability, with details on why a figure is flagged.
- Step 2. Save & check the downsampled pages. The check then renders your pages at digest size. This preview is intentionally coarse and will look blurry. That is expected. Don't judge sharpness; judge whether, from a normal reading distance, the text and lines are still interpretable. If labels become illegible or lines blur together, the figure is too dense.
This is only a guiding tool. It indicates what reviewers consider good, readable figures, to help improve your paper’s chances of acceptance. It is NOT a pass/fail gate and is never used to automatically accept or reject a submission. The tool is also new and still under development. It might incorrectly flag (or fail to flag) certain features. You can flag misclassified subfigures using the “Optional overrides” field, or simply ignore those warnings.

Instead, view it as a reviewer would and ask whether, from a normal reading distance, the text and lines are still interpretable: can you read the labels and tell the curves apart? If they blur into each other, reduce the density of those figures.
